Identify operations that must continue
Map occupied areas, staff and visitor routes, and essential services. Identify peak periods and activities sensitive to noise or dust. An empty floor differs from an operating office, and the scope should reflect that difference in sequencing, protection and available working time.
Break the scope into usable phases
Define the work zone, access, material storage and the point at which each area can return to use. Coordinate planned service interruptions with the property representative. Relevant parties review safety, segregation and access arrangements before affected activities begin.
Connect approved samples to procurement
Set materials, colours and procurement-sensitive details before committing to installation dates. Review lead times, alternatives and approval authority. Coordinate lighting, outlets and building systems with furniture. An approval register makes decision dates and delay effects visible.
Hand over the space with its information
Closeout includes defects review, cleaning, required testing and agreed operating information. Share drawings, occupancy conditions and your intended move date so the team can discuss a programme that accounts for your operations.
